Trish Mcmahon and I have been called to offer a free online workshop with a meditation in the honour of lord Buddha at the time of Wesak in May.
Wesak is the most sacred Buddhist festival, commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha. Celebrated annually (at 3 different days) in May, it is a time of reflection, peace, and charity—often marked by temple visits, offerings of flowers and candles (a symbol of impermanence), and acts of kindness.
In this workshop we are energetically traveling back to the original time of Wesak to meet Lord Buddha and witness the Wesak Ceremony in its original sanctity. Here we receive the blessing of the ceremony’s consecrated waters in honour of Buddha’s Birthday. A very special moment is when we from Lord Buddha himself receive the seed of Buddhahood.
Lastly will we together participate in service Work led by Lord Buddha - to bring peace to all kingdoms on Earth.
